Chemical Peels

What are Chemical Peels?
Chemical peels speed up the natural turnover and help the skin exfoliate, treat sun damaged skin, acne, wrinkles, large pores or pigmentation problems.

Types of Chemical Peels

Glycolic or Mandelic Chemical Peels: 30% mandelic or 20-30% glycolic peel to break down the desmosomes and remove the dead skin cell barrier. These chemical peels can be used for monthly maintenance to exfoliate and revitalize your skin and stimulate new collagen formation for a perfect skin care treatment $150 Happy Hour $99

What is Microdermabrasion?
It is a quick, non-invasive procedure used to resurface the skin with aluminum oxide crystals, or micro-diamond tips which gently remove the top layer of the skin containing dead skin cells. It then promotes the growth of new skin cells in the basal layer of the dermis. The technique exfoliates and gently resurfaces the skin, promoting the formation of new, smoother, clearer skin. $150-$250

We use ImageDerm Diamond Microdermabrasion a medical grade FDA approved machine.

Chemical Peels or Microdermabrasion?
The choice is dictated by the type of skin with sensitive skin with rosacea or broken capillaries benefiting more from light frequent chemical peels than microdermabrasion. Microdermabrasion which is a mechanical exfoliation is a better choice for thick skin with scars, large pores, pigmentation issues. Avoid microdermabrasion if your skin has blemishes, active acne or multiple skin tags.

You can opt for a powerful exfoliation with a combination treatment Chemical peels and microdermabrasion under the care of an experienced skin care professional.

Microdermabrasion can follow or complement an IPL treatment for pigmentation to help slough off dead pigmented skin cells.
